Message	You can get a cheap harbor freight one that will probably fit under the car without ramps. Up a couple notches in quality would be a craftsman, which are decent quality but not incredible. I have the aluminum "racing" jack which is nice and low, but that handle doesn't drop flat enough to go under the car. If you have $600-700 you can get a really fancy one that will last forever. 3000lbs is probably enough but it's nice to have a safety margin. Get a 4000lb if you can.
